London Friend is conducting this survey to better understand LGBTQ+ people’s experience of seeking support for drugs, alcohol and chemsex. This will enable us to better understand what support LGBTQ+ people need and what barriers we may face as a community.
Who is the survey for? This survey is for all LGBTQ+ people (or MSM - a man who has sex with men) over the age of 18 who have engaged with one or more of the following:
- accessed support for drug or alcohol use/chemsex
- tried to access support for drug or alcohol use/chemsex
- who have used drugs or taken part in Chemsex
Is the survey confidential? Yes. You can fill it in anonymously.
What will happen to the results of the survey? The findings of the survey will be used to shape the development of effective support and harm reduction services for organisations serving the LGBTQ+ community. You will not be identifiable in any publications and presentations of the findings.
Who is conducting the survey? The survey is being conducted by London Friend working with LGBT HERO, and in partnership with the London Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham. London Friend is a charity working to improve the health and wellbeing of LGBTQ+ people, and runs Antidote, the UK’s largest LGBTQ+ drug and alcohol support service.
